AI will not replace creativity, but it will punish boring brands
Artificial intelligence is accelerating everything. The brands that still rely on generic communication will be the first to disappear.

AI WILL NOT REPLACE CREATIVITY, BUT IT WILL PUNISH BORING BRANDS
AI is not a threat to creativity. It is a threat to mediocre creativity.
For the last decade, a lot of brand communication survived on volume: more posts, more campaigns, more assets, more channels. AI has made volume free. Which means the brands whose only advantage was making more have lost their advantage overnight.
What AI changes
AI accelerates production. It compresses the distance between idea and asset. It lowers the cost of exploration. What it does not do is decide which idea is worth exploring.
That decision — the judgment of what is worth saying, what is worth remembering, what is worth fighting for — is still human. It is the part of creativity AI cannot generate, only execute.
The brands that will be punished

The brands at risk are not the ones using AI. They are the ones who used to hide behind production scale and now have nothing left to hide behind. Generic tone, generic imagery, generic promises — all of it looks exactly the same, just faster.
The brands that will win
The winners will use AI as a creative tool, not a creative substitute. They will use it to explore more directions faster, to test more voices, to prototype more expressions — and then choose the one with a point of view. They will treat AI as an amplifier of judgment, not a replacement for it.
The principle
AI does not make bad ideas good. It makes bad ideas faster. And in a market flooded with faster bad ideas, the brands with a sharp, distinctive argument win by simply existing.
BORING IS THE ONLY THING AI CANNOT FIX.
